Hannah Clarke

Director

Hannah is a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist registered with BACP. She is also qualified to deliver animal assisted psychotherapy, EMDR and DBT therapy. Hannah is a clinical supervisor, having completed training recognised by the British Psychological Society and is a member of the EMDR Association UK.

She has over 30 years’ experience of working with vulnerable adults, children & young people.

Hannah decided to persue a career in mental health as she wanted to be of greater service to those she has the privilege to support. She is passionate about helping people recognise and access the mental health benefits of working therapeutically with animals and nature.

Hannah loves animals, and has many feathered and furry friends.

Tony France

Director

Tony has been working with vulnerable children and families for over 35 years, originally starting his career as a mental health social worker.

Following twelve years in young people’s addiction services he went on to work internationally for the British Council developing services for vulnerable children in South Africa, Nova Scotia and Sweden.

He has worked as an advisor to Local Education Authorities, schools and charities.

Tony’s time in addiction services led him to recognise that many of those attending services had common experiences of early trauma and adversity. With a desire to make the biggest difference at the earliest opportunity, Tony focused his study and practice on addressing early trauma.

Tony loves motorcycles, rugby and boxing.

Hayley Folley

Director

 Hayley is a registered learning disability nurse with over 25 years experience of working with vulnerable children, young people and adults.

She works therapeutically with families, using a range of approaches and is known to never miss the opportunity to champion the principles of therapeutic parenting.

Hayley is a mum to two girls and spends her non existent free time studying towards her dream to become a Psychotherapist.

Jon Champ

Operations Manager

Jon has been with the company since May 2022 and brings experience from a variety of business settings around the world.

He has a keen interest in mental health, having worked as a mentor and counsellor in Australia with young people and in a voluntary role with One Wave and links to R U OK day.

As a nature lover, you’ll find Jon in the garden and at the beach, amongst the waves is his happy place. Surf’s up!

 

Patrick Clarke

Business Accounts Manager

Patrick joined the team in 2021 and comes with a wealth of life experience and laser focus.

Patrick is dedicated to delivering an excellent client experience and wants to help you focus your needs so that you may access our services to achieve exceptional results.

His moto is ‘If you want it, ask. If you need it, shout it from the rooftops. 

Patrick has a passion for architecture, interior design and photography.

Anne Bolam

Training Services Administrator

Anne joined the team in 2019 as admin for the training side of Headsight.

Anne has ninja style skills with a life-long career in organising people, places & the fabric of time.

Don’t leave anything lying around the office for too long or she’ll have tidied it away. She can declutter a house in 3 hours & your life in a few days.

She loves animals, mostly cats & gardening. Oh & her children & husband…

Lucy Axon

Qualifications Manager

Lucy joined the team in Jan 2016 and having had a few months away in 2022, mentoring children and young people, she returned at the beginning of 2023. Lucy gained her Level 2 and Level 3 Introduction to Counselling in 2022 and started on the Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling for Adults and children and young people in September. Lucy achieved her AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping and AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting in 2021.

When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her 5 children (although 3 of them are now adults), playing the piano, playing the keyboard in a church worship band and all things crafty.

Jon Boodle

Therapeutic Learning Partner

Jon is a registered manager with over 20 years experience of working with adults and young people with complex needs.

His interests in horticulture and outdoor activities led him to retrain with RHS and he now works as a Therapeutic Learning Partner providing an external program of therapeutically informed activities for children and young people who are not currently in full time education.

He has personal experience of early life trauma and adoption services when he and his partner adopted 3 children in 2009.

Dr Ceri Davies

Therapeutic Learning Partner

Ceri is currently a therapeutic mentor and coach working in schools to create successful school experiences for children who struggle due to early trauma.

Ceri’s role is to work directly with individual children and support the staff and adults in that environment to implement therapeutic and trauma informed strategies.

Ceri is also the adoptive parent of a child on the autism spectrum.

Dr Paul Beckley

Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Dr Paul Beckley is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with a wealth of experience both in the NHS and in the private sector. He works with children and adults with a range of psychological and neurodevelopmental problems, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and learning disabilities. 

He is the Clinical Lead of an NHS assessment and treatment service for adolescents with severe trauma, attachment and behavioural difficulties. 

Paul loves the outdoors and grabs any opportunity to go camping, hiking or paddleboarding.

Stuart Allen

Headsight Services Ltd Accountant

Stuart breaks the mould of your typical accountant. He is very personable, approachable, dynamic and patient.

He is inspired by entrepreneurs and individuals he can build strong relationships with and have a positive impact on their business and taxation situation.

John Rees

Education Consultant & Trainer

In a career of over 30 years, John has provided leadership, management, training and coaching to a wide range of professionals who work with, and for, children and young people; with evidence of increased health and educational improvement.

John regularly provides training for senior and middle leaders on a range of curriculum and leadership development courses. He has worked in the UK and overseas for the British Council.

Headsight Services Ltd are proud to work alongside John, who delivers a range of our training.

As a proud Welsh man he loves his rugby!

Richard Fellows

Consultant Therapist & Trainer

Richard offers Case Formulation Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that enables him to deliver a practical, common sense and collaborative approach to counselling that can really help with all levels of emotional distress.

He also delivers training on behalf of Headsight, always receiving excellent feedback for his depth of knowledge and ability to ensure participants feel connected and engaged.

Richard is another enthusiastic motorcyclist.

Aimee Biggs

Consultant Therapist

Aimee is an integrated Psychotherapist who studied at Leeds Beckett University and is registered with BACP and PTUK.

Aimee specialises in all aspects of mental health, toxic stress, complex trauma, and attachment.

She started off in Bristol Youth Offending Team whilst studying at Bath university and found a real passion for further exploration towards human behaviour, personality and how life experiences shape us.

Aimee offers therapy in EMDR, psychoanalysis, creative therapy, attachment focused therapy (Looked after children/adoptive families), movement, NLP, hypnosis, and clinical supervision.

She work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, and is also qualified in management and leadership which has been a large part of her career.

Aimee also has an invested interest in her large family, animals, interior design and art, yoga, dancing, running, the great outdoors, music, and culture.

Roger Duncan

Consultant Therapist

Roger Duncan, M.Sc., UKCP is a registered Systemic Family Therapist, Systemic supervisor, and author.

He has been involved in exploring nature-based practice Eco Psychotherapy for more than 30 years.  He currently works with adolescents within the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAMHS) within the NHS in the UK.

He is visiting lecturer for an MA in Psychological therapies for the Tavistock and Portman NHS trust.

Roger also works in private practice, with individuals, families, and organisations exploring ecological and systemic perspectives on complex issues.

His book: Nature in Mind, Systemic Thinking and Imagination in Ecopsychology and Mental Health was published by Routledge in 2018.  

Dave Rose

Advanced NVR Practitioner & Consultant Trainer

Dave supports families experiencing challenging behaviours, including child on parent violence, school refusal, developmental disorders and learning difficulties.

Dave uses DDP (Dyadic Developmental Practice) to inform his practice and has a background in residential social work, substance misuse and youth work. BILD accredited and provides Emotional & Mental Health support in schools.

His main passion in life is music, both listening to and learning to play and read.

Danica Abbott

Therapeutic Mentoring Lead

Danica has studied integrative psychotherapy and dyadic developmental psychotherapy. She offers support to young people as well as helping their grown ups with therapeutic parenting.

Danica is the Jersey Therapeutic Mentoring Lead, she is understanding, empathic and caring, she supports other mentors to get the best out of young people and delivers some training modules.

 

Freya Andreae

Assistant Clinical Psychologist

Freya joined the team in August 2022. She is an assistant psychologist who recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Psychology and Linguistics. At Headsight she is part of the team working on multi-disciplinary assessments and formulations. Freya also assesses coursework from training programmes that Headsight delivers.

Freya loves making hummus and sea bathing. She is learning to kitesurf and has a passion for making her own clothes, recently taking up natural dying using fruits and vegetables.

Louise Chapman

Consultant Therapist

Louise is a qualified Systemic Family Psychotherapist and Art Psychotherapist. She is trained in delivering Non Violent Resistence (NVR) to groups and to an advance level.

Louise has worked with children, young people and their families for the past 14 years both in the NHS and the private sector. She has experience of working with young people with complex needs and a range of psychological presentations.

She currently works as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist in a Child and Adolescent Health Services (CAMHS) inpatient hospital and in private practice with young people in foster care.

Louise loves getting out in nature, creative art and is a qualified Yoga teacher. She believes in holding a holistic view of clients that she works with and is passionate about empowering people to see the strengths that lie within.

Heath Abbott

Consultant Therapist

Heath is an Integrative Psychotherapist and Non Violence Resistance informed practitioner.

He is a member of the Scarborough Psychotherapy Institute and UKCP registered.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist he is able to draw on various disciplines and adapt his approach to provide the best support for the families and clients he works with.

Heath is fascinated by neuroscience and psychoeducational literature, he also loves paddle boarding and running marathons.

Wendy Mitchell

Consultant Therapist

Wendy is a qualified Play and Creative Arts Therapist working in schools and in private practice. She also works as an attachment and family therapist with children and young people who have been adopted.  

Wendy has worked with children and young people for over 20 years. She qualified as a Primary School Teacher and worked as a Health and Wellbeing Consultant for Gloucestershire County Council for many years. This has given her extensive and relevant experience of meeting the emotional needs of children and young people.

Paula Brown

Consultant Therapist

Paula is a qualified PTUK-accredited Play Therapist who uses creative arts to support attachments within adopted families. She also works with children in schools and private practice to support issues such as anxiety, bereavement and domestic violence and brings her work as a professional storyteller into her practice. Paula has recently completed her DDP Level 1 training. 

Paula has worked with children for 20 years as an Early Years Teacher, in playwork and play therapy. She writes for a variety of journals on topics relating to children, families and mental health and in her spare time she sings, dances and makes things from wood (though, for safety reasons, rarely at the same time!).

Cat Mitchell

Consultant Therapist

Cat is an HCPC registered music therapist, currently working in specialist further education and private practice. She has experience of offering music therapy across the life span, from neonatal intensive care to therapy at home for people living with dementia. 

Cat has over ten years experience working with children, young people and their families in various roles as a youth worker, teacher, community musician and therapist. 

Cat adopts a person-centred approach and will find a way of working that suits the individual whilst collaboratively working towards clinical goals. Cat is a qualified neurologic music therapist, slightly above average keys player and enjoys group singing.
