This one day programme further develops attendees’ knowledge, awareness and understanding of the range of issues and challenges faced by staff and carers when identifying young people who are at risk of sexual exploitation, and helps them to consider appropriate responses.
By the end of the day participants, will:
- Understand the historical context
- Be able to identify vulnerability factors and risk indicators for childhood sexual exploitation
- Have explored the grooming process most often used
- Have considered and explored evidence based practice and identify key points in law
